Hi, I’m Malissa Fedele,
Clinical Nutritionist and founder of Good Day Wellness.
I created this space to support kids, pre-teens, and teens through one of the most important (and often confusing) stages of life. A time when food, body image, identity, and self-worth all begin to take shape, often under pressure.
At Good Day Wellness, we use nutrition, mindfulness, and practical education to help young people feel confident in their body, fuel their mind, and build lifelong wellbeing habits, all in a fun, safe, and supportive way.
Why I Do This Work
When I was a young teen, I had a difficult relationship with food and my body. I struggled with diet culture, never felt content, and often found myself stuck in unhealthy patterns around eating and self-image. I was constantly comparing myself to others and battling a silent pressure to look or be a certain way.
And that was all before social media was in our pockets 24/7.
To think that today’s kids and teens are facing these same struggles but on such a massive, constant, digital scale honestly terrifies me. The rise of unrealistic body ideals, toxic trends, and misinformation online is shaping how young people view food, movement, and themselves before they even have the tools to understand it all.
That’s what called me to this work.
With a background in clinical nutrition, a deep understanding of the food x mood connection, and lived experience of struggling with body image myself, I’ve made it my mission to create the kind of support I wish I had growing up.
To be the "big sister in nutrition" that helps young people build a strong foundation, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
This is more than a job. This is personal.
At Good Day Wellness, we’re not just teaching kids about what to eat, we’re helping them understand why it matters, how it makes them feel, and how to listen to their body with compassion and curiosity.
Because wellness starts early and it lasts a lifetime.
